HONDE’s new range brings built-in data logging capabilities to its range of reliable multi-parameter water quality test probes. Powered by internal lithium batteries, the deployment time can be extended up to 180 days, depending on the model and logging rate. All have internal memory capable of storing up to 150,000 complete data sets, the equivalent of recording data continuously for more than 3 years.
These logging devices can be deployed either individually or in conjunction with a ventilation cable to allow for barometric compensation of measurements, particularly depth and dissolved oxygen saturation.
Programmable recording, event, and cleaning rates. The fastest recording rate is 0.5Hz and the slowest recording rate is 120 hours. Event testing and logging can be programmable with any single parameter between 1 minute and 99 hours. Programmable cleaning rate when using the AP-7000 built-in self-cleaning system.
Provides real-time data viewing, direct recording of real-time data to PC, full calibration and report generation, retrieval of recorded data, output of recorded data to spreadsheets and text files, complete setup of utility and site names and GPS geotagging via integrated USB interface.
Each comes with a quick deployment key. This unique device seals the connector, automatically initiates a pre-programmed logging program, and provides immediate visual indications of health, battery, and memory status.
This allows all programming to be performed in your office using PC applications, and the logging mechanism can be activated at the precise time of deployment. It also ensures proper operation at deployment time.
All models have an internal pressure sensor for calculating depth and dissolved oxygen (DO) saturation percentage. If each deployment is longer than one day and precise depth and % DO values are required, ventilation cables are recommended. For profile, inclination tests or short-term deployments, during which pressure changes are negligible, no ventilation cables are required.
Finally, there will soon be an option to connect to a phone app via Bluetooth. Embed site data and GPS geotagging through the application.
