Today, water companies around the world rely on HONDE water quality data. By monitoring water quality in real time, ultrasonic treatment can be tailored to specific types of algae and water conditions. The system has become the most effective (ultrasonic) solution for preventing algal blooms. The system monitors the fundamental parameters of the algae, including chlorophyll-A, phycocyanin, and turbidity. In addition, data on dissolved oxygen (DO), REDOX, pH, temperature and other water quality parameters were collected.
To continue to provide the best data on algae and water quality, HONDE has introduced a new sensor. It will be more robust, allowing for higher resolution measurements and easier maintenance.
This wealth of data builds an algae management database composed of algae and water quality data from around the world. The collected data adjusts the ultrasonic frequency to effectively control the algae. The end user can track the algae treatment process in the sensor, a user-friendly web-based software that visually displays data from the received algae and water quality. The software allows operators to set specific alerts to notify them about parameter changes or maintenance activities.
